| As
some of you may know, We currently have some 'Taw
Vale' nameplates being made, Many thanks to Simon
at the Taw
Vale forum, These are being made by the lovely
people at Fox
Transfers As these plates are not prototypical, I
though I would add an un-prototypical numbering to my
Class 60. There was 100 class 60's built in the UK at
Brush works, I have the unique Class 60 101. |
 |
While
at the DEMU showcase at Burton-On-Trent, I had a little
chat to the modelling expert James Makin. And he
suggested taking the existing numbering off with a
curved blade. So I thought I would give it ago. Its
turned out very well indeed.
James also mentioned adding a coat of varnish to it
afterwards. As this process takes away some of the
original coating. |

The new
transfers from Fox, where added, and it all looks very
nice!
all thats needed now is the name plates! Watch this
space!
Right folks, Flood EWS with emails
suggesting this numbering and naming |
